With special guests ' G. O. D. Power Productions" a Grassroots Teen Artist development group that writes and performs poetry, music, rap about the senseless violence, death and depression in the streets of Philadelphia today!

Dr. Sebronette Barnes, professor of music at Cheyney University (and a member of the Sankofa Academy Board of Trustees) performed at recital at Sankofa Academy. The students were treated to songs that spanned from Negro Spirituals, Jazz, Opera and Classical.
